Learning is one of the most remarkable features of the human brain due to plasticity. The brain continues to learn how to learn both consciously and subconsciously. Pedagogy, the art and practice of teaching, was fundamentally relevant to ancient societies and continues to be relevant in modern society. Yet the salaries of teachers across America have reduced over the past decade. Thessalonika A. Embry University officially recognizes Learning and Pedagogy as a major field of study to raise gainful employment and higher wages among tutors, educators, and teachers.
Through this Learning and Pedagogy curriculum, TAEU will generate positive change for soldiers, sailors, airmen, and family members through training students to become qualified Professional Learners. TAEU intends that graduates of this program will harness knowledge acumen and integrate research to revolutionize teaching, advising, tutoring, and educational delivery across the industries of government, business, finance, health and wellness, technology, and science.
